X-Factor Racing
X-Factor Racing was founded by Owner Michael Shewchuk in 2004. He has built a team of 6 cars, 3 Pro Stock and 3 Late Models. The cars are built with top of the line parts and the engines are built by Kaley Motors who are well known in the industry of racing, even on the NASCAR level.
The time and dedication it takes to be in the top ten for any driver can only be
understood by the drivers, their teammates and the families. It takes hours of
working on the cars during the week to make sure the cars are ready to go for
the weekend and racing every weekend during the season. This team has the
dedication to make it happen year after year. Out of the 6 cars he owns at this
time, 4 were in the top 10 in points at two different tracks, the other two cars were not raced a complete season to be qualified
in 2007.
Any time you combine 20-30 cars going 120 miles an hour on a race track 3/8 of a mile long, you are going to face casualties. Every time you take a car on the track you hope that it doesn’t happen to you, but you can never control everything going on around you. When something does happen you need to know that you have the right team, driver and support behind you. These are the times that it takes all week, every moment that can be spared by everyone involved, just to put things back together so that you are back on the track for the next race.
Mike was stuck sitting in the car until they could get the other
car off the top of him.
This happened because two other cars had gotten together in front
of him and he could not avoid it.
Just about everyone on our crew will run an Enduro race and has a car
available for them. The Enduro races run on different days and we just
love racing and will run any day we can, even if it just for fun!
